Published by Essex Cricket, 1st May:

As HEBL, we are active members of the Essex Cricket in the Communities Adult Participation Group (APG). The group meet regularly (virtually at present) with meetings chaired by SNEL Chaiman Tom Clarke, and are where the 29 active leagues in Essex can share opinions and work towards a unified approach to league cricket in Essex.

We would particularly like to highlight the ‘APG 6 Balls to Help Restart Cricket’ which were agreed by leagues at the last virtual meeting on 29th April. Although no time-frames are given, these points show how league cricket will eventually restart in Essex. The timing is down to government and ECB guidance.

The link also highlights some really useful information for clubs including grant and funding opportunities which are available. Well worth a read.

In the meantime, stay safe.
